Aims
In the end of this course all students have their own Liine Lemur Template (Or TouchOSC Beta / Or Open Stage Control) and can create and improve new elements on the fly.
Students will be able to (magically and satisfyingly) control their DAW via their phone, a tablet or an additional touch screen.
Creation of advanced functions and chains of command via Lemur Script / Lua / CSS / Java Script.
Relation to other modules

- be creating their own OSC Template
- understand and implement advanced features to their template
- apply basic math and scripting techniques used for their field of profession
- work with json and CSS stylesheets
- work on their DAW template.

This elective is designed for CFT students who want to speed up their workflow. OSC is undoubtedly the most powerful MIDI controller that is out there. Due to it’s own scripting language and web-based approach it’s the perfect and most flexible addition to your DAW of choice. It doesn’t only offer an infinite amount of MIDI-sliders, buttons and XY-fields used for music production, but also speeds up your workflow by a multiple. Get more inspired by using OSC and don’t ever ever ever ever memorise shortcuts or buy expensive MIDI-gear for your home studio.
There’s a golden rule: A magician never explains their trick.
But this trick is quite easy.
