Prerequisites
Completion of One-to-One Learning.
Registration is only possible together with a One-to-One Teaching student.
This subject can be done online, but only by mutual agreement of learning and teaching student.

Aims
Developing skills on an instrument or composition which is not your main subject, stylistically in a different area or giving new musical inspiration for development.
Relation to other modules
This module is related to the elective One-to-One Teaching.
Content
This module can (and will, as a rule) be followed on a subsidiary instrument or in composition (with a teacher in the field of that subsidiary instrument/composition). Depending on the student’s entrance level and personal goals, the minor classes emphasize training skills and/or musical development. There is no fixed curriculum. In each case, a class schedule will be agreed upon following consultations between the student and the teacher. The teacher is another student who’s doing the elective “One-to-One Teaching”

Examination and assessment

Mode(s) of assessment
Written assignments (fill in observation forms) and in-class exercises.
The observation form has the following content:
1. What was the content of the lesson cycle
2. Which material did the teacher use
3. What were the objectives and which objectives you achieved
4. Your personal objectives for the future
5. Feedback about the teacher
6. Dates of the followed lessons
Criteria
The student should have mastered the elements described under Aims.
Pass requirements
The student has successfully completed the module with a minimum attendance of 80% and a sufficient for the written assignment.
Examination procedure
The traineeship supervisor judges the written assignment.

The result can be sufficient or not sufficient.
Resit options
In case of a failing grade if the report is unsatisfactory: the student is requested to rewrite the report and hand it in for assessment again.
