Improving on the pronunciation/enunciation of singing songs in English using your vocalization and analyzing rhythmic use of sound.

Main subject and minor vocals.

During these group classes we will work on improving your pronunciation and enunciation in English. The material in the lessons will be songs in English that you are singing in your bands and/or lessons. Students are expected to practice the techniques outside of class as often as possible to get the most of the class. There is also a possibility to bring your own lyrics to the lesson to work on text, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Group lesson.

Brought in by students and/or supplied by teacher.

In class: working on pronunciation and enunciation of songs in English.
Homework: practicing techniques taught in class at least 30 minutes a day.

Assessment by the instructor at the end of the module and a written reflection.

Students will have improved upon their pronunciation of song texts.

The student has completed this module if they have attended the classes and worked on improving their pronunciation in the materials dealt with and practicing the techniques on a weekly basis. The student has completed this module if being awarded a minimum grade of 5.5.

Students will be assessed at the end of the module. The assessment will be based upon the improvement of the students’ pronunciation in the course of the lessons and the completion of a written reflection.
