Prerequisites
Admitted to fourth year of Jazz & Pop in Arnhem. Exceptions: Pleasure Island can be chosen as an elective in year 2-4, and in case of rare instruments students from other years may be admitted to Band In Residence, this is decided on a case-by-case basis by the head of department.

Projects is part of the Artistic Practice cluster and assessed as part of its portfolio. Though individual ECs are not awarded to one of its subjects, the cluster in total counts for 9 EC in the first year.
A written reflection report of attended events is to be added to your Artistic Practice portfolio.

Pass requirements
You passed the class if you've received a 'pass.'
Attendance of minimum 4 Events in the year, of which at least 1 Good Practice Session (GPS).
Notes:
- Workshops (each counts as 1 Event) will take place on Project Days or on evenings, and are typically announced up to 1 month in advance.
-2 Talks count as 1 Event
- a workshop counts as 1 Event
- maximum 3 GPS session will be organized this schoolyear (the workshop in the SPW does not count), of which you'll need to attend at least 1.
- at least 6 other Events will be organized this schoolyear, of which you'll need to attend at least 3.
Students are expected to attend the whole Event. Exception to the rule is: only with a valid reason, known and approved beforehand by the head of department, a student can leave an Event before it is concluded.
Swap Lessons are optional, you can take maximum 2.
