Aims
Students get introduced to a mediocre level of knowledge and skills in fundamental topics in music technology.

This module is related to theory modules, Composition/Arranging, and various elective courses on music production and music technology.
Content
Students learn a mediocre level of the following areas of relevant music technology: DAW usage, DIY recording, digital music notation, midi-controlling, synthesis, and sampling.

Group class, discussion.
Material & Tools
Students are required to own a personal laptop (Mac or Windows). They are personally responsible for both hardware and DAW software (Logic, Cubase, or freeware such as Reaper or Studio One) and failure to keep these functioning may affect the final grade.
Study materials designed by teacher.
Student activity
DIY application and creation using the learned techniques and theory.
