Content
We will use a variety of hardware and software sound effects on the voice, and explore how to use them as creative tools in live context. Students can bring their own pedals and digital effect setups. We will look at the functioning of the most common effect types (such as reverb, delay, and distortion) and look at how these translate to the different interfaces of various pedals and plugins. In the process we will also gain technical skills and knowledge about how to construct an electro-acoustic live setup using voice and technology.
