Prerequisites
Open to students from all departments who have completed at least Sound Engineering 1 and/or Music Technology, and have demonstrated a connection with and aspirations toward the subject in an admission interview with the instructor. The applicant takes the initiative to speak to the instructor about this prior to enrolling for this subject. This subject can only be followed on-campus.

Content
This six-week module consists of a work placement. For this module, students will work on Thursdays and Fridays as assistant sound technicians for the various recording projects at ArtEZ. This will involve the more practical aspects such as positioning microphones, the studio’s "routing" and dealing with a mixing panel and other studio equipment. As based on their progress, individual students may also be allowed to mix and master small projects themselves. Participation in this module depends on the results of the Music Technology module.

Students are assessed at the end of the module. The assessment comprise evaluations of students' performance during the lessons and, if applicable, public performances.
